Tina Murphy
Tina joined Meridian as a consultant in the beginning of 2020. She currently consults on a broad range of executive compensation matters including peer group development and analysis, short- and long-term incentive plan design, pay-for-performance objectives and goal-setting, corporate governance practices, change-in-control and severance provisions, IPOs and SPAC mergers, and IRC Section 280G calculations.
She has experience working with compensation committees and management of both publicly traded and privately held companies. Her industry experience includes: retail and consumer products, hospitality, restaurants, manufacturing, automotive, and capital goods. She is also a member of Meridian’s retail team.
Prior to joining Meridian, she worked at a large proprietary trading firm in Chicago for eleven years. There, she traded index options electronically and on the trading floor (CBOE), and also served as a product risk manager.
Tina received her M.B.A. from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in Finance, Economics, and Econometrics & Statistics. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and International Business, with a minor in Spanish, from Washington University in St. Louis.
