David has over 20 years of compensation consulting experience with an emphasis on the assessment and design of executive and director pay programs, pay and performance alignment, and corporate governance.
He works with boards of directors and senior management teams within both public and private companies of varying sizes across a range of industries. He has particular expertise in oil and gas, the broader energy sector, and engineering and construction.
David has been a frequent speaker and writer on executive compensation topics. He is a Certified Executive Compensation Professional (CECP), a member of Board Advisory Services for the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), and a member of the Advisory Board for NACD’s Texas Tri-Cities Chapter.
Prior to joining Meridian, David spent 10 years as a Managing Director with Pearl Meyer and 13 years in executive compensation consulting with Towers Perrin. He holds a B.A. in Economics from Rice University and an M.B.A from Jones Graduate School of Business at Rice University.
