Justin is a senior consultant with expertise in a broad range of executive compensation and related governance matters. Justin advises client in matters related to executive and director compensation, incentive design, equity usage, proxy advisor modeling, executive transitions and peer group development. His clients reflect a wide range of industries, including technology, life sciences, retail, consumer goods, and alternative energy. During his time at Meridian, Justin has published articles in Corporate Board Member magazine and NACD Directorship magazine and developed compensation-related programming with NACD.
Prior to joining Meridian, Justin practiced as an executive compensation and employee benefits lawyer at Gunderson Dettmer, one of the premier Silicon Valley-based global law firms, representing venture capital funds, and technology and life sciences companies. At Gunderson Dettmer, he counseled clients in a variety of executive compensation matters including employment, separation, bonus and change-in-control agreements, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance matters and equity incentive plans and related agreements. Prior to Gunderson, Justin also practiced for several years representing public charities, private foundations, and other tax-exempt organizations in New York City.
He has a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and a B.S. from the University of Maryland.
