Laura’s expertise encompasses a wide range of compensation-related issues. She advises boards and management teams on compensation strategies to support both acquisitive and organic growth, the development of total reward programs that align pay with performance, and the creation of impactful compensation disclosures and communications for shareholders. She is a recognized author and speaker on compensation and governance topics.
Before joining Meridian, Laura led the national banking industry team at Pearl Meyer and managed global executive and director stock plan and benefit programs at Duke Energy Corporation.
Laura earned a B.S. from the University of Detroit, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and holds an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), and a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
