Think before you incentivize. Most companies don’t offer deal incentives for executives working on M&A transactions, according to Robert Romanchek. Deal incentives are more likely for select individuals handling due diligence, like finance, legal and HR staff. These bonuses simply compensate people working extra hours on the deal.
